• Patent-Pending Custom TIR Optics: Traditional reflectors and simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, meaning not all of the light shines on target. The SS3’s custom-molded Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic serves as both the internal optical matrix and the main outer lens. This advanced design collects 100% of the light from the high-intensity LED chips and directs it exactly on target, drastically reducing glare and maximizing total efficiency. While other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the integrated lens design of the SS3 ensures significantly greater efficiency and light output.

• Dual-Function Accent Backlighting: Stand out from the crowd with a distinctive backlight feature available in your choice of Amber or Red. This integrated backlight gives you an additional accent light alongside the main beam. Multi-Functional, Optically Modeled Beam Patterns

Every Stage Series beam pattern option is designed using advanced optical simulation modeling to shape the output into a highly functional field of view:

• SAE Fog Pattern: Utilizing our distinctive FineLine optic design, this pattern delivers an extremely wide field of view with high-intensity output over an entire 80-degree spread. It serves as an elite upgrade for any factory foglamp, completely illuminating the immediate area in front of your vehicle.

• SAE Driving Pattern: Engineered to supplement your high beams, making it perfect for general highway illumination. Rather than a traditional narrow "spot" pattern, the Stage Series Driving pattern shines in an 18x8 degree spread, providing just enough width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds.

• Combo Pattern: The ultimate all-rounder for downrange distance and wide peripheral coverage. This configuration shines light downrange in a focused, rectangular 65x25 degree pattern by seamlessly blending a flood optic on one side and a driving optic on the other.

• Flood Pattern (60° x 60° Spread): Designed to provide uniform, even illumination with a full 60x60 degree spread of light. Unlike generic "flood" lights that are simply a heavily diffused spotlight, our flood pattern uses pillow optics on the outer lens surface to provide a true optically designed spread. It is perfect to use as a backup light, for trailers, worksites, or lighting up anything at low speeds.

   

• Spot Pattern (6° Focused Beam): An unmodified pattern casting light directly from the TIR optic. The result is a highly focused 6-degree beam of light perfect for directing light far into the distance. Pushing out an incredible 151,000 candela, the SS3 Sport shines a half-mile away from a compact 3-inch package. (Note: The Pro Spot uses a slightly larger emitter which spreads the light output more than the Sport Spot, resulting in a lower candela and lux rating even at a higher power level).

Street-Legal On-Road Performance: When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standards as a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, and the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standards as a Foglamp for legal on-road use. For states that require them, optional snap-on covers are available in a variety of colors to keep your SS3 Pod clean and protected from dirt, dust, or whatever else the road throws your way. Cool White vs. Selective Yellow

• Cool White (6000K): A crisp 6000K color temperature that delivers a true cool white output, seamlessly matching most factory LED lighting arrays.

We also offer replacement lenses that allow you to easily change the color or optic layout of your SS3 Pods at any time.

Simple Connections & Proven Reliability

Wiring your new pod setup is completely hassle-free. All SS3 LED pods feature an integrated Deutsch-style connector on the back and come with a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads. For installation, you can wire them yourself, use an off-the-shelf Deutsch DT-sized wire harness, or select an optional Diode Dynamics wire harness. Our Light Duty Dual Output Harness can power up to two SS3 pods, while our Heavy Duty Dual Output Harness (paired with a Deutsch DT Splitter) is recommended if you look to power more than two pods at once. To power the accent backlight, simply use the included harness to tap into your desired vehicle power function.
