The consistent continuation of our new design initiative, we have developed exclusively for the new Boxer generation. A special technical tidbit is the kind of mounting: A specially designed set screw will be pressed an O-ring against the inner bore hole wall, which secures the cover bomb-proof.

Technically, this is the only expedient attachment. Attachment to the existing threads is out of the question due to manufacturing tolerances, because the cover would sit decentralized in many vehicles.
